    An “off the shelf” set has a standard lie angle and you can usually choose between ½” and 1” increments upright or flat to custom fit the club to you.

A firmer feel and sound is the result of the machined, flat face. The face material – aluminium (black) or steel (copper) – varies by model, depending on placement of the materials, which is positioned to maximize forgiveness and optimize the centre of gravity.
