Tiger Woods allays injury fears with golf swing video

Former Fox Sports columnist Robert Lusetich sent out a somewhat erroneous report the other day which concerned Tiger Woods’ physical condition, and it didn’t go down too well with the 14-time major winner.

Lusetich tweeted “I’m told #TigerWoods condition worsened. He can’t move well; painful to sit. Sits in car with seat fully reclined. No forseeable return. Sad.”

This tweet was shared around the world and people – mainly fans of Tiger – were understandably worried about the players health.

However, Woods’ agent has since spoken out about the claims, saying: “The tweets that appeared this weekend about Tiger’s health are ridiculous and absolutely false. It’s reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it’s treated like a real story. Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time."

Tiger went a step further, posting a video of himself taking a few swings in a net with the tagline “progressing nicely.”
