Aaron Baddeley signs for PING Golf

PING Golf has announced the signing of four-time PGA Tour winner Aaron Baddeley. The deal is said to be an endorsement contract.

Baddeley’s last PGA Tour victory came in July at the Barbasol Championship, and the 35-year-old has been using PING golf clubs on a regular basis. He also won the event in July while using the PING Golf G LS Tec Driver and G 3-wood.

“Aaron has shown a great deal of talent over the years, he has a positive attitude, and he has a home in Scottsdale (Ariz.), so we’ve gotten a chance to know him and his family,” Ping chairman and CEO John A. Solheim said in a release.

“He has played Ping equipment at times in his career, so he feels like a natural fit for our brand on and off the course. He’s had a star quality since his successful amateur days, and he has a set of values that are in line with ours. We’re excited to be associated with Aaron.”

Under the terms of the new contract, Baddeley will use a minimum of 11 PING golf clubs, including a driver and putter, and he will also wear a PING hat and use a PING golf bag.
