ChromoSkin™ Full-Grain Leather
The ChromoSkin Leather System by Pittards features a full-grain leather that is, lightweight, thin, durable and completely waterproof. The result is tremendous breathability and an upper that will conform to the foot for an incredible custom fit.
Dual Density FTF+ Midsole
Most footwear is developed using EVA foam, but unlike most FootJoy has developed the Pro/SL midsole and outsole with Fine-Tuned Foam (FTF) which is 10% lighter. The top layer FTF is soft to cradle around the foot for superior cushioning, and the lower outer layer FTF is firmer to provide greater motion control and stability.
Enhanced Support
To give you additional support the shoe features a TPU exterior heel counter and A-Frame support, keeping you as stable as possible to give you a locked-down feel.
SoftSpikes Traction
The shoe benefits from SoftSpikes Pulsar`s 16 component design which provides maximum traction from all angles of force. Even in the toughest of course conditions, Pulsar cleats benefit from the same turf grip and walking comfort advantages as other cleats. But also have additional radiused legs for more durability and cleat webbing for easier cleaning.
Laser Plus Last
Full rounded toe character, standard fit across forefoot and instep, with a slightly narrow heel. This is an extra-depth last to accommodate the Ortholites® Impressions FitBed® for enhanced cushioning.
