  • Flex:
    ?

    Flex option tooltip

The flex determines a shaft’s ability to bend during a swing, affecting clubhead speed, distance and control.

Which flex you use will depends on the type of swing you have. Beginners and those with less powerful swings tend to use a shaft with greater flexibility to create more clubhead speed. However, if a player has a high swing speed, they will require a stiffer shaft with less flex.

  • Shaft Length Adjustment:
    ?

    Shaft length tooltip

Getting the correct shaft length benefits you in several ways. We are all different in height and our wrist to floor measurements. Having the wrong length shafts can hinder your address position, stop the clubhead sitting correctly at address & impact and cause lack of accuracy and consistency.

  • Grip Thickness:
    ?

    Grip thickness tooltip

Choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. If the grip is too thin your hands will over-rotate resulting in a pull or draw. If the grip is too thick it limits movement of the wrists, leading to a push or fade.

Overview
Engineered with a carbon forged design that compared various different head shapes and power holes arrangements to give you an improvement in both distance and ball speed performance.

Key Features:

  • Carbon Forged Construction
  • Power Holes
  • Low CG Position
  • 12 Months Warranty

Premium Construction

Wilson has constructed the D9 forged irons with carbon forged steel, because nothing else feels and looks as good as a premium forged iron.

Power Holes

The new arrangement of the power holes, compared hundreds of Power Hole layouts to find the best configuration for a forged iron. By placing the holes towards the heel of the club more energy transfers to the ball and increases deflection. It creates effortless speed and greater distance performance.

Low CG Position

The weighting of the iron is placed into the lowest centre of gravity position to improve launch and spin. These two characteristics will help to improve accuracy and stopping power to give you workability around the golf course
