  • Dexterity:
  • Loft:
    ?

    Loft option tooltip

Loft is the primary factor in the golf balls trajectory. The greater the loft, the higher the ball flight will be.

  • Ping Shaft:
    ?

    Shaft option tooltip

The golf shaft uses the centrifugal force of the swing to generate clubhead speed for striking the golf ball. By picking the correct shaft type to match your swing speed, you'll add distance, consistency and performance to your game.

  • Flex:
    ?

    Flex option tooltip

The flex determines a shaft’s ability to bend during a swing, affecting clubhead speed, distance and control.

Which flex you use will depends on the type of swing you have. Beginners and those with less powerful swings tend to use a shaft with greater flexibility to create more clubhead speed. However, if a player has a high swing speed, they will require a stiffer shaft with less flex.

  • Shaft Length Adjustment:
    ?

    Shaft length tooltip

Getting the correct shaft length benefits you in several ways. We are all different in height and our wrist to floor measurements. Having the wrong length shafts can hinder your address position, stop the clubhead sitting correctly at address & impact and cause lack of accuracy and consistency.

  • Ping Grip:
    ?

    Grip option tooltip

The style of the grip is more often a personal choice but choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. We all have different sized hands so take this into account when building your perfect club.

  • Grip Thickness:
    ?

    Grip thickness tooltip

Choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. If the grip is too thin your hands will over-rotate resulting in a pull or draw. If the grip is too thick it limits movement of the wrists, leading to a push or fade.

Overview
Introducing the new G425 LST driver with higher levels of MOI, with a smaller 440cc pear-shaped head profile which offers a reduction of spin preferred by better players.

Key Features:

  • High-Density Tungsten Back Weight
  • Ti 8-1-1 Body / Forged T9S+ Face
  • Turbulator Technology
  • 12 Months Warranty

High-Density Tungsten Back Weight

To achieve new levels of performance PING the LST (low spin technology) offers high levels of MOI (moment of inertia). This is achieved with a 17-gram high-density tungsten back weight which can be deployed in either a draw, fade or neutral position setting. This increases MOI by up to 14% without sacrificing any other performance attributes in the design. It also lets the golfer decide which launch conditions and desired ball flight are best suited to the golfer’s swing.

Ti 8-1-1 Body / Forged T9S+ Face

PING has created the 440cc G425 driver with a Ti 811 ultra-thin crown, with advanced Internal Dragonfly Technology to produce even more weight savings. This increases the MOI, for the highest levels of forgiveness and even more distance.

The high-strength T9S+ face of the driver has been forged using a unique heat-treating process. This patented process creates a thinner face which is precision machined for maximum flexing, this increases ball speed for greater distance performance all the way along the face.

Turbulator Technology

To achieve more clubhead speed PING engineered the G425 with even better aerodynamics and more efficient crown Turbulators. This reduces aerodynamic drag to produce an increase in swing speed performance.

Loft & Lie Adjustability

The driver allows you to dial into your preferred loft and lie settings. The hosel allows 5 different loft settings +-1.5⁰ (0, +1⁰, +1.5⁰, -1⁰, -1.5⁰). Plus you can alter the lie angle by up to 3⁰ flatter.

Features

Lower Spin

The pear-shaped, 445cc head reduces spin approximately 200-400 rpm compared to the G410 LST, promoting a flatter, lower-launching trajectory for faster swing speeds. A 17-gram CG shifter can be set to Draw, Neutral or Fade to fit your swing and desired ball flight.

Dragonfly® Refined

Movable tungsten weights that vary by model are made possible by weight savings attributed to advancements in the drivers’ Dragonfly crown technology.

Precision Forged Face

A proprietary high-strength, precision-machined T9S+ forged face maximises flexing to deliver fast ball speeds and more distance.

Fast Design

Refined crown turbulators reduce aerodynamic drag for increased swing speed and ball velocity.

Easy Adjustability

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilises a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customise your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

Internal Ribbing

PING engineers developed an internal rib structure in the Ti 8-1-1 body, reinforcing key sections of the head to improve acoustics for a solid, pleasing sound and better feel.
