Hole 9 - Crook o’ Moss

The ninth hole is a monster 618 yard par 5 to close out the front nine. As the hole has some twists and turns, a drive to the first part of the fairway between the two bunkers allows for a better second shot, which should be to the third part of the fairway and offer you a clear view of the tricky green. It’s important not to try and go too far to the right with the second shot as if it lands short it’ll be in the water, but too far and it could end up in the fairway bunkers.

The narrow green falls away to the left, making your approach shot important. Three-putting on this hole is common, so we could see some pros make shots up and others lose shots on this hole.
