Hole 7 - Larch Gait
The seventh hole is a 468 yard par 4. An uphill dogleg right, Larch Gait requires skill and accuracy. A drive to the left will avoid the bunker on the right of the corner, and a straight approach shot will keep you out of the three bunkers on the left of the fairway. Although the green is unguarded, its uphill position means you’re unsighted hitting onto the green. This can present problems as it’s quite difficult to know exactly where to shoot, and underhitting will leave you rolling back down the fairway.
The green is generous and has no significant borrows, meaning that your shot onto the green should be both high and long. As it’s unguarded you should be safe to hit on, though still take care.
