Hole 3 - Schiehallion

The third hole, Schiehallion, is a 431 yard par 4 with a dogleg right. A cluster of bunkers on the right of the corner indicate that staying well left on this hole is the most advantageous route to the green. Staying left allows you a much clearer approach, which itself is fairly tricky. A narrow entrance guards the green, along with a bunker on either side of the entrance making the approach that bit more difficult. It’s better to overhit than underhit as anything short of the green will more than likely end up in one of the bunkers.

The green is raised, hiding the position of the flag so be sure to check it beforehand. With a slope from left to right, try to hit your approach to the right of the flag, leaving an uphill putt.
