Woods pleads guilty

Tiger Woods has pleaded guilty to reckless driving in Florida, it has been confirmed.

Tiger Woods pleaded guilty on Friday to reckless driving, but will avoid jail as long as he stays out of trouble.

Woods spoke only briefly during a hearing at a Palm Beach County in Florida courthouse, answering questions from a judge about his plea agreement.

Prosecutors dropped a driving under the influence charge for the superstar golfer, and Judge Sandra Bosso-Pardo warned him to behave or face up to 90 days in jail.

Woods, 41, did not make a statement during the hearing or outside the courthouse. He has not competed since February because of his back injury and is not expected to return this year. His last win came in August 2013.
