Branden Grace revels in Qatar Masters victory

Branden Grace eased to a 6th European Tour victory on Saturday after winning the Qatar Masters, a single stroke ahead of Scotland’s Marc Warren.

The Callaway golfer showed incredible calm and skill as he wielded his Big Bertha Alpha 815 Double Black Diamond driver and smashed an outstanding shot onto the 16th green to make a five-foot eagle putt on the hole.

The victory should see Grace enter the top-50 in the world golf rankings, with his currently enjoying sitting third in the Race to Dubai standings.

“I’m going to thank Callaway again – that driver again on 16…without that it wouldn’t be possible,” Grace said after the game.

“It was a great day, a great week, and it’s another trophy to put in the cupboard.”

The 26-year-old’s Race to Dubai 2015 has gotten off to a great start having won the Alfred Dunhill Masters in December. The South African has now secured every tournament he has been leading or co-leading when entering the final round.
