Harrington Wins 2nd Claret Jug At Royal Birkdale
Padraig Harrington clinched his second Open Championship in a row yesterday by shooting an under par 69 in the final round at Royal Birkdale.
Moving steadily through the field throughout the week after starting by shaking off a wrist injury. Once he realised that the injury wasn't going to cause too much of a problem, there was noone more determined than the reigning champion.
Greg Norman, and then Ian Poulter put up the main challenge, but after Harrington's eagle 3 on the Par 5 17th, there was only one result.
