Immelman Brings Home First Major At The Masters
Trevor Immelman won South Africa its first major tournament since 2004 yesterday by winning the US Masters in Augusta, Georgia.
It looked for ages on the final day that it would be a tournament that would be lost, rather than won, but that would do Trevor Immelman a dis-service. After putting his tee shot into the water on the 16th, he held his nerve superbly by finishing with two pars despite being in a greenside bunker on 17.
So often the Achilles Heel of any player in front at this stage of a tournament, but it was Trevor Immelman's Driver that didn't let him down when the pressure was really on.
Nike Golf in fact supplied equipment for the top three at the Masters, with Woods finishing 2nd and Cink 3rd. All three were using Nike Golf Balls, with Woods and Immelman using the One Platinum and Cink the One Black.
Immelman's bag in full is below:

Fairway Wood: Nike SQ2 Fairway Wood
