US Open Preview

American Tiger Woods is hot favourite to win the 107th US Open this week at Oakmont. At 3-1, the Nike Golf staff player and World Number One is keen to add to his 2000 and 2002 US Open victories.

10-1 second favourite is Callaway Golf player Phil Mickelson - he'll be looking to add to his 3 career major wins under his belt so far - he has yet to win the US Open.

Playing for Srixon, Jim Furyk is at 18/1. Winner of the US Open four years ago, he'll be as determined as anyone to win his second major.

Flying the flag for Cobra Golf is last year's winner, Australian Geoff Ogilvy who memorably beat Yonex ambassador Colin Montgomerie at Winged Foot. With Sandy Lyle backing Monty this week, maybe he'll have another crack at that elusive major title, who knows??!!
