Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Callaway Golf Mack Daddy 2 Slate Wedge

  1. joel asked on
what grips do they come with

    1. Kevin replied on
I got Golf pride grips put on. Great club to use.
  2. IAN asked on
hi are they good as a sand wedge ian.
    1. Mr John replied on
Hi Ian - I use my 54 with more bounce and my 58 in the bunkers and have found them excellent - soft more raked sand then the 54 with more bounce to knock the sand out of the way whilst the 58 when I determine the sand is thin to harder - typically after rain for example. Seems to me bunkers are 'be brave open that club face and keep the face going with speed through impact and let the bounce do the work' - at least for me thats what I think.

Callaway Golf Mack Daddy 2 Slate Wedge Technology

The Callaway Golf Mack Daddy 2 Slate Wedge features a stunning slate finish that oxidises over time for a distinctive look that reduces glare from the sun. Providing versatility with better spin and control, laser milled micro grooves increase surface roughness for more friction with the golf ball. The 5V groove pattern features 39% larger grooves that provide 25% more spin from the rough*. The added spin is designed for superior control and aggressive shot making into the green, no matter the lie.

Callaway Golf Mack Daddy 2 Slate Wedge Sole Grinds

Standard Grind: This grind has some heel relief and the straightest leading edge of the three sole grind offerings. Perfect for the regular gofler, this is the most conventional wedge that performs well in firmer conditions.

C Grind: Relief is ground out of the heel and toe, enabling the face to be laid open while effectively reducing the bounce angle. This very versatile grind allows for proper contact and maximum spin and control.

U Grind: Inspired by short game wizard Phil Mickelson and the same version he has been using since the 2013 Masters. This grind increases the dynamic bounce angle (actual bounce of the club when the ball is struck) without increasing the static bounce angle. The unique sole shape and rounded leading edge allows the golfer to get under the ball and hit high, soft shots.

*5V groove found in 56°, 58°, and 60° wedges, 25% more spin claim based on full shots hit out of the rough compared to the 2011 Callaway Forged Wedge.
