Good feel and the weight adjustment is an advantage.
Found the 10 degree hard to get the ball high enough for tee shots that require a 170 yard carry over hedges. Would recommend the 12 degree to anyone in similar circumstances.

Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the TMade SLDR S Graph 1

  1. Arthur asked on
Does it come with adjustment tool
    1. john replied on
It should do. But if not most golf pro shops will have the right tool. It's very straightforward to adjust the setting.
  2. Colin asked on
What are the differences between the regular and lite shafts
    1. Jill replied on
My handicap is 10 and following a custom fit before I have always used regular shaft but I have tried a stiff
shaft which caused me to slice the shot more often. I would say it all depends on your swing speed, check with your pro.
  3. Bob asked on
What is the range of lofts

    Thanks

    Bob
    1. Keith replied on

All the SLDR distance, with a fixed loft. The TaylorMade SLDR S Driver is for the golfer that wants the distance and accuracy benefits of the low and forward centre of gravity and the SLDR sliding weight, but doesn't want to adjust the loft. With all this technology packed into an aesthetically stunning clubhead, the SLDR S will help you hit it straighter and longer than ever before.

TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Sliding Weight Technology

The TaylorMade SLDR S Driver features the incredible SLDR weighting system that is highly effective and easy to use. With 21 different positions, the SLDR weight shifts the centre of gravity and can be moved horizontally towards either the heel, to promote a draw, or the toe, to promote a fade. For ease of use, the sole is marked with “draw” and “fade” to help you get the shot shape you desire. The SLDR weighting system allows you to promote a side-to-side trajectory change of up to 30 yards.

TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Features:

  • Easy and intuitive SLDR sliding weight promotes up to 30 yards of shot-shape adjustment

TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Centre of Gravity

For years it has been accepted that a low and back CG was the ideal location for a driver. However, long distance comes from combining fast ball speed, high launch-angle and low spin-rate. The TaylorMade SLDR S Driver has a centre of gravity that is more forward which turns out to promote more ball speed and less spin. From there, golfers simply need to loft up by two or three degrees to launch the ball on a high enough angle to maximise distance.

TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Design

Aesthetically, the TaylorMade SLDR S Driver features the same beautiful, modern classic 460cc shape as the original SLDR Driver but with a new satin-silver crown colour with black button back. This incredible design is makes alignment easy and is one of the most visually appealing drivers TaylorMade have ever made.
The SLDR S driver comes complete with a matching head cover.
