Golf Club Sets
Golf club sets (packages) are a great way to get into golf. Typically the package set will include 9 irons, a driver, 2 fairway woods, putter and a golf bag. Golf club sets are increasingly including a rescue club or two instead of the traditional 3 and 4 irons.
Golf Club Packages
Whilst package sets are not the last word in technological advancement, they do represent good value for money. For around £150-£200 you can get everything you need in one convenient package. The main benefit is that you can begin the game for a relatively modest amount of cash and without being bamboozled by golf speak. If you take to the game and want to improve then you can then trade up.
Technically Advanced Golf Club Features
Once you have attained a reasonable level (say your first handicap) then it will benefit you greatly to move towards separate items of equipment where the latest technological advancements are featured.
Package sets are available in steel and graphite shafts with stand or trolley bags. Beginners may find it beneficial to use graphite, particularly those with slower swing speeds.
