Darren has been a loyal member of The European Tour since 1991 and has gathered many fans due to his passion for the game. Since turning pro, Darren has had numerous victories. The early 2000's proved to be a success for the golfer as in 2002 he became the first player to win the English Open three times and a year later was the first player other than Tiger to gain more than one World Golf Championship title. And since this time has gone onto win the 2011 Open Championship

Outside of the game Darren enjoys fishing, cars and football where his favourite team is Liverpool, and has his own charity namely the Darren Clarke Foundation. The charity was established to further help the development of junior golf in Ireland and raises money for Breast Cancer Awareness, due to his wife losing the battle against breast cancer in 2006.
