Swedish golfer Edberg, was practically born on a golf course with his parents owning the Edberg family hotel at Jonkoping which has two golf courses, where he dabbled his hand in golf as a young toddler with his father Stefan Edberg and his brother Hans Edberg who is now a golf coach.

Edberg turned professional in 1997, however it wasn't until 2004 he had success in gaining his tour card, but was unable to retain this the following year, but regained his tour card for 2007 and has gone on to have successful wins on the Telia and Scanplan Tours.
